Pinewood Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Asheboro, North Carolina.

Pinewood Country Club first opened for play in 1971. The course was designed by Tom Jackson. The Golf Course has also been redesigned and renovated by Russell F. Breedon.

Pinewood offers enough variety of terrain to challenge any level of golfer. There are many trees and water hazards that come into play throughout the course. The signature hole is #8, a 245-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water.

Championship tees: 72, 6,791 yards, 73.4 / 128

Blue tees: 72, 6,336 yards, 70.6 / 123

White tees: 72, 5,839 yards, 67.8 / 118

only pro shop I have ever seen with no golf clubs in it. The Head pro didn't even speak as we walked in and he walked by us.

Would travel: 60-120 Miles
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Best course in the area

the club pro was not very friendly but the rest of his staff was great

Would travel: 20-30 Miles
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area
